Analyst: Possible accounting changes, loan commitments could force more banks to raise capital
NEW YORK (AP) -- Some national and regional banks might need to raise more cash or slash dividends because of proposed changes to accounting standards and an increased utilization on existing loan commitments, according to a report by Citi Investment Research."
